A doctor calls his patient and says, “I have some bad news, and some very bad news.”
The patient says, “Great. Well, just give me the bad news first.”
The doctor says, “The lab called me with your test results. They said you have 24 hours to live.”
The patient replies, “That’s horrible. What could possibly be worse than that?”
The doctor responds, “I’ve been trying to reach you since yesterday.”
