The snake, a Russell’s viper, truly had 2 heads (I know some people like that). But this one was real, and it was found in Maharashtra. It measured about 4″, and is one of the most deadliest snakes in the region.
Seen outside of a residents building, authorities quickly hauled it away. It’s now at a special facility, being specially observed.
The authorities were quoted as saying, “The snake is alive and being kept in safe environment. Due to the Forestry Department protocol, we can’t disclose the location of snake right now.”
Officer Susanta Nanda went on to say, “The Russell’s viper is far more dangerous than most poisonous snakes because it harms you even if you survive the initial bite.”
Meaning, use your own head and stay the heck away.
