YIKES! Imagine going to the doctor and he shows up with a tow-truck. Extreme? Maybe. But this real human tooth (shown below) that was extracted would leave anyone crying.
The Guinness Book of Records has recognized a dentist from Offenbach for pulling a 1.46 inche long tooth out of the mouth of a patient who had complained about pain.
The dentist from Offenbach received a certificate from Guinness World Records for pulling the ginormous bone.
After pulling the over-sized extremity, the dentist spent much longer submitting all the necessary paperwork before it was listed as a World’s record. What’s scary, is that 3/4 of the tooth, the root, was actually hidden below the gumline.
“Every dentist in the world will read about this,” the dentist said.
So if you’re having a pain in the jaw, it could just be the fame your dentist is searching for.
Better get longer pliers.
