Frankenstein? You bet… Just like the movie. A head and brain was inserted onto a corpse. A head swap… (much different than face-swap).
“The next step”, Sergio Canavero said, an Italian surgeon, “is a head transplant between two brain-dead organ donors”.
Canavero stated that they “successfully” transferred a head from one cadaver to another. The surgeon said details would be released within days.
This comes after successfully experimenting on mice, rats, dogs and primates. It’s the first “full rehearsal” on a human.
“The first human transplant on human cadavers has been done,” he said, “A full head swap between brain dead organ donors is the next stage”.
“Today we stand on the brink of a revolution, not only in medicine but in human life as well.”
