It used to be, back in the 80’s, that every 50 babies born was a twin. Meaning, about 2% of the population.
But suddenly, that rate increased to 2 1/2% in 1995. Then 3% in 2001. 3.3% in 2010. And now, it’s estimated that one out of every 30 babies is a twin.
So what’s going on?
The growth in humans, of course. With the amount of twins increasing, so does the odds of having more twins.
The baseline has changed.
And right now, about 1,009,337 twins roam the earth.
Clones are taking over.
Are you a twin? How many twins do you know?
Probably at least 2…
