FREAKY!!! And I love it. These lights in the sky look just like alien abductions (Don’t I wish). But sadly, they’re not. They’re actually a crazy phenomenon called “Light Pillars” or “Sun Pillars”, and are nothing more than shafts of light that extend from the sun or other bright light sources (like street lights, porch lights, lamps) that appear with the perfect weather conditions. Usually winter, and usually in Canada or the upper Michigan (Like Northern Lights, or Aurora Borealis). With the right atmospheric conditions, these lights get pulled (like when you squint at a Christmas Tree), and the ice crystals in the air make it look like aliens, for sure.
Just look at these lights:
It’s all an optical illusion…
But it sure does look real, doesn’t it?
Simply, incredible!
