WILL THERE BE A BLACK FRIDAY THIS YEAR?

Who the hell knows?

With COVID, anything is possible.

Black Friday has always been one of the biggest shopping days of the year (it’s one way to burn off all that turkey). But this year, everything has changed. No one wants to cram in, fill the stores, and touch everything in sight.

Granted, we can’t do that anyway… With social distancing, face masks, antibacterial soaps, wipes, sprayers, and one way aisles…

So stores will have to come up with a different way of shopping.

And it’s looking like that means ONLINE DEALS.

Black Friday is NOV. 27, 2020

Stores like Target and Walmart have already made up their minds to stay closed on Thanksgiving (the workers are happy).

Curbside Pickup will Reign #1

Curbside pickup is where you shop online, with the website, or the app, and place an order for pickup. Businesses have designated parking spots in the front of their stores to make the entire dealing as safe as possible. No contact!

You place the order, you pay for it. The store brings it out to your car. Easy as that.

Plus, many stores will probably have all these special deals online, for easy shipping to your house.

The prediction is that this year will feel different, but the steals and deals will still be there. Getting them, is easier, and much, much safer.

Black Friday may be odd, for sure. But there may be more items to choose from, more availability, and it may not be limited to a few hours.

We’ll just have to wait, and see.
