Well, the title may make it sound like one girl sold a world’s record in one Girl Scout Cookie season…
But that’s not what happened at all.
You see, the world’s record, the most sold in history, is for the total amount of cookies sold in her entire Girl Scout career.
Her name is Katie Francis, and she sold some insane number of cookies:
Over 100,000 boxes!
That’s a lot of Peanut Butter Patties!
She’s a high school freshman, and she’s been in Girl Scouts for 7 years.
She sells a couple of hours a day during peak season. She even sets up shop at local supermarkets (when people are hungry).
She even has some tips for future cookie salesgirls:
- Have fun and enjoy what you do.
- Know your product.
- Always dress professionally and wear a smile.
